Seeking One Savior
Even the small waves of life can be overwhelming when your head is just barely above the surface of the water.
- “Rejoice always”
- “Give thanks in all circumstances.”
- “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
How did Paul manage it alone in Athens seeing absolutely no fruit from his labor, in Philippi beaten down and bloody, in the middle of the sea treading night and day, or in Rome facing certain death?
“We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself… But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” – Paul (2 Cor.1:8-9)
I have come to the conclusion that I am drawn to Paul because he never got over grace. He was real, humble, and totally dependent on his Savior. His single minded passion is my deepest desire: “Christ Jesus”, that I may know Him and be conformed to His image.
I’d love to share with you a few highlights from this journey that I have been on this past year (and still am on) tracking the footprints of the man who said, “follow me as I follow Christ”.
I know where this trail leads, and any road that leads me to Jesus is worth traveling. I hope your journey and mine will leave fresh sets of footprints for others to follow as we keep on Seeking One Savior.
